The acid-base balance of many horses is disrupted by incorrect feeding. The protein-rich and cereal-based diet as well as the oversupply of concentrated feed lead to hyperacidity in the body. The resulting metabolic disorders cause malfunctions of the organs, the skin, the hooves and inadequate microcirculation between the body cells.
